Our chicks are still growing rapidly. They are spending more time out of the nest cup and this shows the hen about to feed one of her brood there. One or two of the chicks are also occasionally flapping their wings furiously for several seconds. Why they don't take off I don't know. Unfortunately, any attempt to photograph this is doomed to failure as the rapid movement becomes a messy blur.
Life continues for our chicks very much as before. Here the cock is about to feed his brood, all the chicks being visible. You can see it is the cock as his head feathers are darker and somewhat scruffy. (More masculine, perhaps?)
Here, they have arranged themselves around the nest, apparently having had their appetites satisfied. Not much later, it was business as usual as the hen came with some more food!
