Thursday 17th April, 2003

Another warm dry day.  You would think that both nests would be well ahead of last year because the weather has been so good.  However, the first egg was laid last year on the 6th April in one nest and the 18th April in the other.  Do these birds know something that we don't know?

Fantail finds Fred in her box again.  "A girl needs feeding you know"

At last Fred gets it right!

"OK, off you go.

He just doesn't realise what hard work this nest building is!

Just wait until he has a family to feed!"
