It had rained over night, but by the time we got up it was windy but dry. Fantail has come up trumps and now has five eggs. We have thought once or twice during the day that Fantail had six eggs but have finally decided it must be five. Fluffy is still stuck on five, so its five all.

Fantail didn't seem to settle at all this morning, popping in for five or ten minutes and then disappearing again.
Fantail pops in to check on her eggs. She stays about seven minutes.
She was then out of the nest for about two and three-quarter hours before coming back to give them a cuddle.
This time Fred came and fed her, and Fantail graciously accepted it.
