Next, we switch to Flash and Fluffy's chicks.
Well, Fantail's 8 eggs are still all in one piece. She hasn't yet surprised us the way Fluffy did.
Flash is passing some food for the chicks to Fluffy to feed to them.
Most times, Flash passes his food offering to Fluffy quite happily. Sometimes, however, he has other ideas and refuses to relinquish it, forcing Fluffy to get out of the way so that he can feed the chicks himself. We cannot remember seeing this behaviour before. At the start of this sequence, Fluffy is sitting on the chicks when Flash enters.
Fluffy tries to take the food, but Flash does not let go and Fluffy has to retreat.
Clearly, Flash wants to feed them himself, so eventually Fluffy backs off and Flash moves in to feed the chicks.
Finally, he is rewarded with a faecal sac!
