Fantail is still not incubating. After bringing in yet another large feather or whatever, she left the nest for nearly four hours! When she eventually returned, Fred tried to cajole her into staying by bringing her a tit-bit. It didn't make any difference. Fifteen minutes later she was off again.

Fluffy is spending more time in the nest, but she is still off the nest too much for it to be called incubating. How do the chick embryos survive this treatment - assuming that they do!
A few wing stretches before a trip out - checking the eggs are still there on her return 10 minutes later.

But what on earth is it in her beak? It looks like a fly.
Both were tucked up for the night by about 7pm.
