We are pretty sure that this bird, shown on yesterday's entry, is not Neptune.
We're getting totally confused by what is happening in Box1.
Neither is the bird outside watching it, as is obvious from its tail.
However, we now believe that the bird that has been taking all the feathers out of Fantail's nest is Neptune!
We have judged this from looking not only at the tail but also the white markings on Neptune's back.
Our conclusion is - don't guess - wait to see what happens!!
At least Fluffy is continuing to sit on her eggs happily!
