Bluetit Diary    Jan 2004 (4)

Thursday 29th January, 2004

Well, we're pretty sure Fluffy is still with us.  Yesterday we saw her feeding from the feeder on the dining room window, so early this morning Malcolm moved the camera into the dining room in the hope of taking her picture when she came to feed there.

Here is the result.  This is not a good picture as the light was stronger in the background than on the feeder itself which has given it a blue tinge.  In addition, she is hiding behind the thickest part of the feeder, but we are pretty sure its her.

This was taken a bit later and again Fluffy is in shadow whereas you can clearly see the sunshine on the hedge behind.  However, in both pictures you can see an area of her left hand side where the feathers stick out.  This was just as she looked at this time last year.

Lets hope she wins the battle, if there is one, for the nest box in its new position.
