Still no sign of Kelly's eggs hatching, so I thought you may like to see how Ferdinand is getting Babe trained!

We start with Ferdinand coming to the nest box with some food for Babe.  You can't see the food yet but it's there!

Babe hears Ferdinand's approach - perhaps he calls to her, or perhaps she has learned to recognise his footsteps on the roof - and starts to get off the nest.

But Ferdinand doesn't enter the nest box so Babe starts to approach the hole to look for him.

Now Ferdinand flies down the the entrance hole - but he still doesn't go in!

What's this?  Babe has come so far forward that she can accept the food parcel through the hole!

Mission accomplished, Ferdinand gets ready to go!

Babe is leaving the nest.  It appears to be a common consequence of being fed.  Perhaps, having got off the nest, she may as well stretch her wings and fly around a bit.
