Over two hours have elapsed since the third chick left home, and there is still little sign that that situation is about to change..
Then, without warning, one of the chicks jumps up onto the exit hole.
After a short while, without fuss, this chick flew too.
"I think he's gone too. You won't leave me alone in here will you?"
Perhaps ...
... maybe ...
... and he goes!
"Cor - it's big out there!"

This is the only picture we have of any of the chicks leaving the nest from the outside camera. Next year I shall have to find some way of getting a better view of this nest box!
All is quiet in the nest box for the first time for weeks!
