Another day and another visit to Box2 ...
... and this time it looks as though the outside bird is a welcome visitor.
This is about a quarter of an hour later than the last visit - he must be getting keen on the idea!
Back again half an hour later.
Back at Box1, the bluetit is getting ideas again. Not the easiest of poses though.
While the great tits have been less visible around this box recently, the bluetit appears to have taken that to mean the field is free for him.
It's nice to see some competition!
He (or is it she?) is clearly very keen.
"Any great tits about?"
"Perhaps just a quick look!"
"Rather nice in here. Just right for a brood of chicks!"
"With a good view too"
I think he must be referring to the feeding stations and fat block feeder!
Now where has this other bluetit come from. Are they a pair already?
Time will tell.
