Here she is at the start of a typical cycle.
Inside the box you can see that what she is carrying is quite a larger piece of straw. No wonder that she sometimes struggles to get it inside!
She takes some time to put her load down ...
... but this time, she eventually does so ...
... only to pick it up again ...
Here to the right of the box, you can see the end of the piece of straw or whatever it is she is carrying.
Ten seconds later she is back with it. I think all she can be doing is going round in circles and coming back again with the same material in her beak.
Here you can see that she is still carrying the same piece of straw.
Again, after a short while she drops it.
But instead of leaving it there and going off for more, she suddenly picks it up again and flies off with it.
In less than 30 seconds, she has done the complete circuit twice! And she appears
to be keeping this up for most of the day!
