Donna has been bringing more feathers into the nest box all day. This time she found that Mick was already in the box when she arrived.
He didn't stay long though!
Some good news from Donna and Mick!
She spent a lot of time fussing around in the nest cup, but that was nothing to see.
Finally, at 7:12pm it looked as though she was settling down for the night.
Suddenly, she got up again and went out - and revealed what she had been hiding all day - an egg!
She wasn't off the nest for long, but we took the opportunity to take a few pics!
At about 7:20, she came back and started to settle again. The lights go off at about 7:30 so we didn't worry that she was disturbed by the lights.
Finally, at 7:27, she stuck her head under her wing and went to sleep regardless of the lighting, which went off a few minutes later.
Two eggs tomorrow perhaps?
