Now this time there can be no doubt at all. Rosie has (at least) 8 eggs in her nest.
It is interesting that this year, both Donna and Rosie laid two more eggs after they had started incubating. They both started incubation at about 3.30pm, Rosie on the 29th and Donna on the 30th April.
They both laid an egg the following morning, which we expected, and then one more the after that day which we did not!
It will be interesting to see how close together the eggs hatch. Hatching normally starts about 12 days after the start of incubation, and this would imply the 11th and 12th May respectively.
