Our two birds still seem to be disputing Box3.

Come on lads, can't you call a truce?  But I suppose nature doesn't work quite like that!

Looking at these two, they look much more like a male and a female rather than two males.  In the upper picture, the lower bird has his head feathers raised in typical male fashion, whereas the bird on the roof looks much more like a female.

In this picture, the same applies, though here it is the bird on the left that looks like the male.

If these two are one of each sex, then will they eventually realise this and start co-operating?

Doesn't this robin realise that this box is not suitable for him?

Not a welcome visitor to Box1!  This is a female great spotted woodpecker.
