This rotten weather continues. So far this week we have had 23mm of rain on Wednesday and a total of 38mm in total. I hope there will be enough food for the chicks when they start hatching. The last thing we want is a repetition of the disasters of 2007!
Becky has now laid 10 eggs. If she really has started to incubate them, then this will probably be the last one she lays.
Becky has spent most of the day sitting on her eggs. I think we can fairly certainly say that she has started to incubate.
Bob seems to be looking after her properly. Here he brings her some food. It seems too small to see so perhaps he is getting into chick feeding mode!
Not to be outdone, this is James with food for Jess.
I'm still hoping that Jess's chicks will start hatching around 1st May - ie in four days time.
