Another feed for Kelly in Box1.
An egg! The first egg for Kelly and (presumably!) Kit.
In Box2, a fourth egg has been laid. As Sally is roosting in the box overnight I think we can be pretty certain that these are her eggs.
Scruff hasn't abandoned all hope though as the next sequence shows.
We start with Sally in the nest box. A moment later she leaves.
Directly Sally has left the box, Scruff goes into it.
Sally must notice this and two seconds later she is back in the nest box too. Scruff is towards the top of the picture and Sally at the bottom.
This causes Scruff to go out leaving Sally as the sole occupant.
This pattern of behaviour occurs quite frequently during the day.
