What's this? You can see a bit of pink flesh showing under Georgie. Her eggs must have started to hatch!
Wills seems to have cottoned on pretty quickly. Instead of his usual rather large items, this time he has brought something very small - much more appropriate to give to a newly hatched out chick!
It is now a quarter past eight and so far it looks as though four eggs have hatched.
This must be one of the first times that Wills has come to the nest box without Georgie being there to take the food he ahs brought in. He looks a little puzzled about what to do. No doubt he will cotton on pretty quickly!
Over in Box2, it is clear that Pippa's have not yet started hatching.
Back in Box1 at the end of the day, it still looks as though there are only four chicks. Let's hope the rest of the eggs hatch out over night or during tomorrow.
