There are too many eggs here in Box2 to be able to count them accurately. I think there are at least 13 of them.
Last year, when two females also laid there eggs in this box, they produced 18 of them. In 2013 the total was 21!
It looks as though Bess has started to incubate. She has been sitting on the eggs since about 4.20pm. I hope this doesn't cause any problems as Spikey is still laying!
This shot was taken just before 8pm when Bess had tucked down for the night.
We will have to wait and see what happens!
