My field guide says that incubation for coal tits takes about 14 to 16 days. If we assume incubation started on 19th April, then that means that the first egg should hatch around 3rd May! That is only 5 days from now.

This is the first time I can remember seeing Jet bringing some food for Sooty while she has been incubating. That's not a good sign and I hope that Jet will do better once the chicks have hatched.
