It's 7:37am and I think I can see a piece of eggshell in Sooty's beak.

Sooty has now moved a bit and you can see something pink in the nest. The eggs have started to hatch!
Ten minutes later you can see at least two eggs have hatched.
It's now 10 o'clock and somehow Jet has discovered that the eggs have started to hatch. Here you can see him passing a little gree caterpillar to Sooty.
I'm not sure whether this is Sooty or Jet, but whichever it is it looks as though it is trying to feed the chicks, of which there are now several that have hatched.
Another visit from Jet. It looks as though he is doing his job well.
It is now a quarter past 4, and it looks as though there are only 4 more eggs to hatch.
It's 6 o'clock and there are still at least three unhatched eggs. I always think it is a bit of a miracle that although the eggs were laid one at a time over 10 days, they normally all hatch out within a 24 hour period.
Jet bringing more food for the chicks.
It's now a quarter past six and there is still at least one unhatched egg. If it is ever going to hatch, then I expect that will happen overnight or in the early hours of the morning.
