Another busy day is in store. The chicks all look well and I think there are 7 of them so either one egg didn't hatch, which is I believe most likely, or one chick has died and its body has been removed by Meg.
It's a long day for parent birds at nesting time. This picture was taken a 7:15pm and Max is still bringing food to the nest. I'm not up at dawn to turn the system on, but In know that the parents start getting busy then!

After looking extensively for an eighth chick, I cannot find one. This looks like 7 chicks, so either the eighth egg has not hatched, or one chick has died.
