He starts from here - jumps up and with a quick flap ....
.... ends up on the roof of the nest box!
This is Barney coming into land on the nest box hole - presumably to try to attract Fluffy.
His feet are stretched forward for the landing and his wings are almost furled.
This image was taken a fraction of a second later. Presumably, he was surprised to see that Fluffy was already in the nest box and aborted his plan, immediately flying away instead.
We checked from the other camera that Fluffy was indeed inside - and found that to be the case.
