But who's this? It's now about 12.30 and presumably this is Carlos come to see what's happening to the box he was so cruelly ejected from!
He takes his time about it. Here he seems to be looking around - is he looking for Megan?
Whoa! Here comes the defence corps! Carlos vanishes very quickly!
Just under two hours later, he is back for another look.
This time he seems even more curious.
We thought here that Carlos would go into the nest box, but perhaps he could see that it was now very different from what it was like when he was last inside.
This time he does not get chivvied away, but after a while, he flies off.
Babe continues to bring moss to the box during the day. Here she comes for her last visit shortly after 7 pm.
She is not ready to roost yet, and leaves the box for the last time soon after.
We are still keeping an eye on things to make sure that Carlos does not slip back to try to roost. After his visits this afternoon, we can't be too careful. Fortunately, he seems to have learnt his lesson.
