This was the sight that greeted us this morning! Is this two eggs?
Yesterday, Kelly was keeping a secret from us. When I looked first thing this morning, I think I saw two eggs!
A short while later she came in with a large fluffy feather which she seemed to be using, rather ineffectually, to cover them.
Nine minutes later, she came in with another one.
What on earth is she up to here? Perhaps some sort of protective display?
An hour later, Kelly's attempts to cover her eggs don't seem to have been very effective!
That's better - although I fancy that if you know where to look, you can still see at least one of them.
Another first - for us anyway. This is the first time we have caught Boris feeding Kelly inside the nest box.
You can just see a small something in Boris's beak and Kelly reaching forward to take it.
Mission accomplished - it has disappeared down Kelly's throat.
