Although it is only the start of February, all our boxes seem to have birds interested in them. Lets hope this leads to three broods of chicks!
The bluetit frequenting BBB always seems to be fretting about something. Perhaps he can see his image in the glass plate, or perhaps he is just wondering why he cannot get to the back of the camera area to investigate.
Here he is clinging on to the nest box hole in order to get a better look.
Aren't his yellow under feathers a beautiful colour!
Over at Box2 a starling is investigating. He hasn't a hope of getting in there so I don't know what he's playing at!
He doesn't give up easily. Here he's just flown down to the nest box hole.
Nice place, but a bit on the small size for you I think!
Just 1 second after the starling leaves our bluetit reappears to claim back his box!
