A couple of firsts today, although they were only tentative ones - perhaps they don't really count!
Is this a nesting wriggle? We didn't see it live, only via the playback so we cannot really tell. However, it does look suspiciously like one.
And it was a warm and sunny day which always helps to get our birds in the mood.

This looks as though the bluetit in Box2 is bringing in some hay!
Yes - definitely nesting material of some sort.
Doesn't she know it's still January?
As usual, she seems strangely reluctant to let go of it.
Then suddenly, with a flick of her head, she deposits it on the floor of the nest box.
I suppose this technique means that the nesting material gets scattered evenly over the floor of the nesting area.
