That bluetit at Box1 is stirring up trouble again!
The great tit spends quite a lot of her time in the nest box. She pecks at the walls or the floor. Sometimes she preens.
Here she is doing something else. It looks as though she is listening to something outside.
Well, well, well. It's our old friend the bluetit.
He's having a look to see whether there is anybody at home!
It seems he can't see any occupying bird ...
... so he hops down to the entrance hole to check more closely.
It must have been about now that he realised there was a bird inside after all!
He doesn't land on the hole but decides at the last minute to start flying ... !
... and flies back to the top of the box!
No, you can't see anyone from here.
Ah! Yes you can if you lean a bit further forward!
He flew off straight away!
That was a close call!! Going into the box while the great tit was inside would not have been a good idea!
