The new position for the camera outside Box3 is bringing us some interesting pictures. Here you can see that the bluetit has furled its wings well before landing. You can also see that its feet are at the ready to land on the entrance hole.
It lands cleanly and has a look inside ...
... and departs!

This time it lands on the corner of the box. These little birds seem to be able to cling to anything. Still, they get lots of practice when hunting for food on the twigs at the end of tree branches!
It takes a quick peek inside without moving from its landing position.
