Less than a minute later the second chick flies too. Is this the start of a mass departure?
It doesn't look like it from inside the box! The chicks all seem to be totally ignoring the departure of the two chicks.
Anyway, surely it's a bit late from the rest to go tonight?
Perhaps not - two of the chicks are preening themselves.
One chick is even looking out!

Chick number three flies off to its future!
Three down and three to go.
Another chick flies up to the hole ...
... and so chick number four fledges.
There are now only two chicks left in the nest box.
Is this going to be chick number five?
It looks like it!
Yes - chick five is on its way.
So now we are left with the last chick.
