The picture looks much the same this morning.
At last, a clearer picture. This is Ann with all 9 chicks visible. So she hasn't lost any!
(One is quite difficult to see. Its gape can be seen in the bottom right of the nest cup, deep in the shadows.)
It's now pretty late - just after 8 o'clock in fact - and the chicks have settled down for the night.
