The great tit is making another visit.
We start with Box2 where there's still not a lot happening.
Nearly an hour later, the great tit is back. At least that means that he hasn't yet settled on another nest site!
In Box1, Ella's bringing moss to the box for a change.
Once she is in the box, she doesn't seem to know what to do with it.
And another load of moss.
What's got into her? she has now brought in three loads of moss in rapid succession.
The nest box floor is now noticeably more covered - but there's a long way to go yet!
By the end of the day, you can clearly see a difference in the look of Ella's nest.

Ella is still collecting moss rather that the dry hay she was bring in earlier.
This is the state of play in Box1 at the end of the day. At last Ella appears to be getting down to this nest building business.
We are still being tempted by the thought that something is about to happen in Box2. This is another visit by the smart bluetit.
It is back for another look during the afternoon.
It jumps down to the entrance, but then flies off again. It doesn't go into the box.
