The cameras were switched on rather later today, so we have missed any egg laying. When Fluffy's camera was switched on she seemed to be delving down among her eggs in a most energetic fashion.
It's sometimes difficult to see what she is up to; but not here on the right, where a good wriggle is in progress. She leaves shortly after showing us her three eggs.

Interestingly, they appear to have different colours. We have discovered on previous years that this is a trick of the lighting. They are in fact all the same colour and the variation from pale cream to rich chicken's egg colour depends on whether they pick up any natural light or not.
Fantail's eggs remain frustratingly hidden all day.

Then she makes it worse by bringing in another feather to cover them up with.
