At 12.50, Neptune comes with some more food.
Again, it looks like an oat flake.
Fantail seems strangely reluctant to take it.
Eventually she does take it but immediately she leaves the nest with it still in her beak. Neptune left very shortly after.
Half an hour later, Neptune is back again.
This time she takes it promptly and appears to eat it.
Neptune continued to ply Fantail with morsels to eat during the afternoon.
It's now getting towards the end of the (bluetit) day and Fantail has brought in a white feather! This is the first time we have noticed that she has brought feathers into the nest.
