The female takes one last look around.
But the male has had enough and pushes past the female on his way out of the nest box. This is only 4 seconds after she jumped onto the nest box hole, so he is being pretty impatient here!
Perhaps he was frightened that the great tit would return!
But no matter - the female goes into the box anyway!
Now it's her turn to have a look.
She, too, goes up to the hole to look outside.
So, only 11 seconds after she goes into the box, she leaves it.

She doesn't go far! She lands again on the roof of the box.
One last look inside and she departs.
Two minutes later the great tit arrives. No messing about at the entrance - she goes in straight away.

She had better watch out - those bluetits are getting keener every day.
I hope she has a partner. If not I don't know what might happen!
