Bella has laid a second egg!
Fay is still steadily getting on with her nest.
Steady is the operative word. Progress is very slow but it is forward - I think!
Every now and then she does a nesting wriggle. I suppose that although we haven't seen much of Bill, he must be around somewhere!

That looks like egg number three.
Yes - this is a much clearer picture of it!
Almost immediately, Bella is back with a feather to cover her eggs up with.
I hope we will be able to see the rest of her clutch.
Is anything going to happen with Box3? We sometimes feel this box is doomed. In the last two years we have had three failures (last year a bluetit pair built a nest and then vanished. Then a great tit pair took the nest over, laid eggs which hatched - and then the male lost interest and soon disappeared. All the chicks hatched, but they all died.)
Anyway - this bluetit looks interested!
First he flies to the roof to get another look.
Then back to the entrance hole.
He then goes into the box!
Are you still looking for a nesting place? Do you have a partner?
Who knows what will happen here this year!

The time is shortly after 10pm and we decided to switch the camera on briefly (about 3 seconds!) to check that she was there.
