The day the pigeons broke the bird table!
... we never expected it to destroy one end of the bird table!
Then half an hour later, a collared dove did the same for the other end.
I blame the pigeon really, a collared dove is far too sweet a bird to damage our bird table deliberately!
They are just as effective as a bird table destroyer though.

The screws that kept the surround attached to the floor of the table were too short and had pulled out. They have been replaced temporarily by longer fatter screws. However, the wood is starting to rot so I shall have to think of a more permanent solution soon!
