An early visitor to Box1.

Box2 has also had a visitor today.  Initially I thought this was going to be a nesting wriggle, but eventually I have decided that it was just pecking at the hole in the middle of the floor.

We have seen this bird several times.  It (and I don't know yet whether it is male or female) looks to be a fairly old bird and has some fluffiness visible on its right side and a peculiar projection, (a broken feather?), sticking out of its left side.  This latter has been visible for some time and will help to identify it provided it stays there!

The bird inside Box1 is clearly unhappy about the attention being paid to it by the bird on its roof.

This is what the bird inside was up to when the shot above was taken.

Early days yet!
